Christmas and New Year Holiday at Sparrow Hall Cottages really means a traditional Festive holiday.  All the cottages have Christmas trees in their lounges and Festive wreaths on the doors. Santa Clause has easy access down our chimneys and with open fireplaces, plenty of space for the mince pie, sherry and carrot.

Our heated indoor swimming pool is open as usual, nothing better than having your own pool right outside your door.  

Sparrow Hall is an ideal situation weather for that different festive holiday  or  for the  tradional family Christmases or New Year get together, when several cottages can be booked to bring everyone together.

This time of year in North Yorkshire is always a special time, the hospitality in our local hostelries is second none. Snow is usually found on the North York Moors and often at the cottages. York is magical with various buildings being illuminated this year, enhancing  the tradional Christmas lights. The ghost walks, York Dungeon, National Railway Museum, Yorvik Centre and the Macarthur Glen Designer Outlet offer something for everyone over this seasonal holiday.
